Bermuda’s Willie Clemons is in line to make his debut for Stowmarket Town
Bermuda midfielder Willie Clemons has received international clearance in time to be included in Stowmarket Town’s squad for the match today in the Isthmian League North at home to Great Wakering Rovers.
“Confirmed!”, the club tweeted yesterday as they welcomed Clemons to the club where he will play alongside another Bermudian, Reggie Lambe, who was instrumental in getting Clemons to the club. Clemons had been without a club since last December when Dalkurd suffered relegation to Sweden’s third tier and his contract was terminated.
“I think it is a good move for both myself and the club,” Clemons told The Royal Gazette this week as he looked forward to a fresh start in England.
