St David’s pulled off the biggest upset in the First Division after handing leaders Young Men’s Social Club their first loss of the season at Police Field on Sunday.

Aaron Paynter broke the deadlock in the twelfth minute to put the visitors in front but the home side hit back seven minutes later through a goal from Jomeko Mallory to leave the teams tied at the break.

The game remained in the balance until Iyuan Smith’s 71st minute winner clinched St David’s first victory of the season.

Elsewhere, Wolves got back to winning ways courtesy of a 2-0 shut out win over hosts Southampton Rangers at Southampton Oval on Sunday.

Kwan Smith put the visitors ahead in the 30th minute before Kyle Brangman doubled their advantage in the 66th minute to secure the points. Southampton’s woes were compounded by the loss of Isaiah Taylor after being shown a straight red in the 74th minute.

The remaining match featured hosts Devonshire Colts edging bottom side Somerset Eagles 1-0 at Police Field on Saturday.

Teniko Eve converted the winner in the 51st minute to earn the home side their third win of the season.

BAA were awarded a 3-0 result after opponents Ireland Rangers were unable to field a team for their clash at Goose Gosling Field on Saturday night while Paget had a bye at the weekend.
