Boulevard will attempt to complete the league double over fellow promotion hopefuls Robin Hood when the two rivals lock horns at Goose Gosling Field tonight.

Blazers thrashed Hood 4-1 in the reverse fixture back in October, a humbling result Hood will no doubt be seeking to avenge in a crunch match neither side can afford to lose in pursuit of the remaining promotion spot up for grabs.

Both teams will be keen to get back to winning ways after suffering defeats in their previous outings with Blazers losing 8-0 at the hands of Premier side St George’s Colts in the first round of the FA Cup and Hood going down 2-1 to Southampton Rangers, who are also chasing promotion.

Hood can leapfrog Wolves into second with victory in tonight’s match, while a Blazers win would see them narrow the gap to one point of the sole remaining promotion spot.

Wolves are ahead of third-place Southampton Rangers on goal difference while fourth-place Hood also hold the edge over fifth-place Vasco on goal difference.

Blazers are sixth, two points adrift of Hood and Vasco, who have played one game more than their rivals.

Unbeaten Devonshire Colts clinched the First Division title with four games to spare courtesy of a 5-1 demolition of Somerset Eagles at White Hill Field on Sunday.

Hood and Blazers were originally due to face off last Thursday but the match was postponed and rescheduled owing to the torrential rainfall throughout the day.

Southampton Rangers had a bye.
