He won a number of local tournaments and as a teenager was twice victorious in the Berger Championships, the leading junior event of the time.Among his contemporaries were Colin Selley, Mal Gosling, Bill Brewer and Bob Alger.Selley, founder of the Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association, a former Director of Tourism and a good friend of Riihilouma, said: “He will be fondly remembered.“He was certainly one of Bermuda’s leading tennis players of his time.“He was a member of the Bermuda Pan Am Games team and was the top ranked player in Bermuda for some time.”
