Bermuda middle distance runner Shaquille Dill has qualified for his second event at next month’s World Junior Championships in Barcelona, Spain.Dill, who qualified for the 800 metres at a meet in Boston last weekend, met the qualifying standard in the 400 metres at the National Sports Centre on Wednesday night.His blistering time of 47.64 seconds is not only a personal best but a new national record, surpassing Renalda Swan’s time of 47.9 seconds in 1976.Coached by Gerry Swan, Dill is the only Bermudian athlete who has qualified, to date, for the World Juniors.
