Digicel Bermuda has enhanced its island-wide 5G+ network by offering more mobile capacity at St George’s Cricket Club for Cup Match.

The telecommunications company has done this by creating an additional 5G+ mobile site at the Wellington Oval.

This will ensure that thousands of fans enjoy a seamless and connected experience throughout the two-day event.

“Customers can count on the most reliable, fastest high-speed service when it matters most,” Digicel said in a statement.

Meredith Sharples, the chief executive, said Digicel is committed to delivering the best experience for customers.

“We are excited to power Bermuda’s favourite holiday with our fastest 5G+ network,” he said.

The company said Cup Match is one of Bermuda’s most cherished traditions, a celebration of culture, cricket and community.

“The annual showdown between Somerset and St George’s brings the whole island together,” the release stated.
