The Digital Finance Forum returns this spring with more asset allocators, managers and entrepreneurs at the forefront of digital finance, fintech and artificial intelligence.

The forum hosted by Penrose Partners and Salt will feature two days of core programming, followed by an on-the-ground activation designed to on-board Bermudian residents and small businesses to digital finance, with elevated networking opportunities and curated off-site excursions throughout.

David Burt, the Premier, said the event last year marked a significant milestone in Bermuda’s digital finance journey, with strong participation from local residents and businesses across the island in a community initiative designed to educate and empower Bermudians to use digital money.

He said: “This forum reinforces Bermuda’s position as a global leader in digital finance regulation and innovation, while ensuring that Bermudians are active participants in the future of finance.”

John Darsie, chief executive of Salt, said the forum continues to advance meaningful conversations among global leaders shaping the evolution of digital finance, while spotlighting Bermuda as a hub for innovation, investment and regulatory progress.

Sean Stapley, partner at Penrose Partners, said: “What sets this event apart is its ability to bridge global leadership in digital assets with real-world local adoption of digital finance.”

He said by pairing institutional dialogue with hands-on community engagement, the forum supports the growth of the digital asset ecosystem and its practical integration into Bermuda’s local economy.

Last year, more than 500 people registered for the three-day conference where attendees were given the opportunity to download the Coinbase Wallet app to receive $100 in USDC cryptocurrency, through sponsorship raised by Penrose Partners.

Penrose is inviting firms to sponsor the conference.

This year’s forum will be held from May 11 to 14 at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.
