Free golf and spa deal aims to woo visitors

Bermuda’s popularity with golfers is being marketed by the Department of Tourism, with an incentive for visitors to get in a couple of free rounds.The ‘Tee for Free’ deal offers two free rounds of golf plus $100 credit at any of eight local spas. The package comes with bookings made now through February 17, with travel dates through April.Noting that the Island is home to more courses per square mile than anywhere else, Tourism Minister Wayne Furbert said the deal “offers golf enthusiasts the chance to play for free at several of our premier courses”.The offer covers four-night minimum bookings at 15 participating hotels, with two free rounds of golf offered at Belmont Hills, Fairmont Southampton, Port Royal, Riddell’s Bay and Rosewood Tucker’s Point.Useful website: www.experiencebermuda.com.
