Government is seeking young people to promote Bermuda to help make next year’s Spring Break a success.The Department of Tourism announced yesterday that it is looking for students enrolled in college or university in the US or Canada to join their Ambassador Programme.Students who join the programme can earn cash by promoting Spring Break 2013 on various social media sites. Spring Break 2013 events will be held; February 16 to 24, March 2 to 8, March 9 to 15 and March 16 to 22.The Department of Tourism has said that this year’s Spring Break events attracted around 250 visitors.A spokesman said that those who are interested in joining the programme should e-mail their name, age, contact information, name of their college or university, their spring break dates and the reasons why they would make a good ambassador to springbreak@bermudatourism.com.Participants must be Bermudian, or possess Bermudian Status, and employees of the Department of Tourism and their immediate families are not eligible for the programme.
