Porthole magazine names Bermuda to its preferred destination list

Bermuda is to be recognised for having the sunniest arrival port by Porthole Cruise Magazine.

The Island was named as a “preferred destination for cruise ships” by the magazine’s editor-in-chief Bill Panoff due to its seclusion, its “beautiful beaches, shopping, [and] nightlife”.

Said Tourism Minister Shawn Crockwell: “We are honoured that Bermuda has been recognised as a highly desirable cruise destination.

“It’s very important to have a highly respected media outlet dedicated to the cruise industry acknowledge that our arrival ports exceed the expectations of our guests.”

Bermuda’s award will be announced in the February issue of Porthole Cruise Magazine and online, Porthole.com.
