Bermuda Tourism in US marketing blitz
Bermuda tourism officials are travelling the US East Coast as part of a six-city marketing blitz.
Information on the Island has been presented to more than 210 travel agents in Boston, New Jersey and New York City.
“We are extremely pleased with the strong attendance and enthusiastic feedback from both travel agents and target media,” said Tourism Minister Shawn Crockwell. “Given the response received already from these events, it demonstrates that relationships with the right agencies and media are key to our success.
“All six cities that our team and partners will have visited represent essential markets in the core Northeast market, for Bermuda tourism, especially as we begin our peak tourism season.”
Department of Tourism officials were joined by representatives from the Fairmont Hamilton Princess, Fairmont Southampton, Grotto Bay Beach Resort, Newstead Belmont Hills Golf Resort & Spa, The Reefs, Pompano Beach Club, Rosedon and Rosewood Tucker’s Point.
The group will next travel to Philadelphia and Baltimore.
