Influencer Mikaela gets lead role at Black travel expo
A Bermudian media professional is to lead discussions on the future of content creation at the 2025 Black Travel Expo in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mikaela Ian Pearman will moderate a panel discussion titled “Shaping the Future of Content Creation”.
It will run from June 27 to 29 at the Thompson Buckhead Hotel, said Maurice Foley, the founder and chief executive of the event.
The three-day exposition highlights Black travellers, creators and businesses shaping the future of global travel.
Dynamic panels, networking opportunities, cultural experiences and international travel showcases will be featured.
Mr Foley said: “As a Bermudian passionate about travel, representation and entrepreneurship, I’m proud to create a space where we can celebrate our culture while forging new global connections.
“I strongly encourage Bermudians to attend the 2025 Expo, especially those working in tourism, media or lifestyle industries.
“It’s an incredible opportunity to learn, connect and elevate.”
Ms Pearman is well known for her work in public relations, lifestyle branding and hosting high-profile events both locally and internationally.
Through her platform, she inspires creators to show up with confidence and purpose.
Event organisers said this made her a “perfect fit” for the discussion on the evolving role of content in the travel space.
