Bright spot draws Front Street visitors on a rainy day

A bit of bad weather didn’t deter visitors from snapping photos at Hamilton’s most photographed spot at the Bermuda marquee sign on Front Street, where Ron and Sheila Steelman, from Ohio, paused for a picture (Photograph by Akil Simmons)

A new look for a Front Street landmark allows passers-by to put themselves in Bermuda — literally.

The 40ft harbourfront “Bermuda” marquee, unveiled two years ago, incorporates island themes into its lettering and offers a popular spot for a photo opportunity.

The look has been enhanced with freshly paved flooring and lighting for the eye-catching structure.
