Washington flights to halt next month
American Airlines is scheduled to end its seasonal service to Washington next month, as well as reducing service to Miami.
According to the August flight schedule, published by Skyport, the American Airlines direct service to the US capital will halt on August 5.
While the airline will continue to offer daily service to Charlotte, New York and Philadelphia throughout August, its daily service to Miami appears to be reduced to five days a week effective August 11.
As previously announced, BermudAir will suspend its service to Fort Lauderdale and Providence effective July 5 and July 6 respectively, with the Fort Lauderdale service to become seasonal.
The airline will continue to offer six weekly flights to Toronto, five weekly flights to Boston and Westchester and three weekly flights to Baltimore.
The airline will also make twice-weekly flights to Orlando, Halifax, Raleigh-Durham, Hartford, Richmond and Montreal along with weekly service to Charleston.
Air Canada will continue to offer five weekly flights to Toronto and weekly flights to Montreal, while Delta Air Lines will offer four weekly flights to New York and three weekly flights to Atlanta.
JetBlue is scheduled to offer daily service to Boston and New York, while United Airlines will offer daily service to Newark and British Airways will offer daily service to Heathrow.
Recently relaunched flights between Bermuda and the Azores are also included in the schedule.
It was announced this month that round-trip charter flights through Trip.bm will depart from and return to Ponta Delgada on July 27, August 3, August 17 and September 7, with another four flights between December 8 and January 19.
