Charlie’s Angels actor on ‘whirlwind’ trip to Bermuda
An actress who played a lead role in the 1970s American television series Charlie’s Angels soaked in the sights when she visited Bermuda, a post on social media showed.
Jaclyn Smith, 79, who played crime-fighting detective Kelly Garrett in the show from 1976 to 1981, said she put her nerves aside when she travelled around the island during a surprise trip from her husband, Brad Allen.
In a post on her Instagram page last week, she said: “What a whirlwind! My wonderful husband has done it again.
“Brad met me in Philadelphia after my work trip for HSN [Home Channel Network], where he surprised me with a trip to Bermuda for some much needed relaxing and reading on the beach.
“From motor scooters to our tiny electric car, I’ve been putting my nerves aside to experience lots of new modes of transportation on this trip.
“The pay-off of these views has been more than worth it.”
Ms Smith posted several photographs of her trip on her Instagram account including one of her on a rental bike.
The actor starred alongside Kate Jackson and Farrah Fawcett in the 1970s crime series, which aired for five seasons.
She made cameo appearances in the 2003 film Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle and a 2019 remake of the film.
Ms Smith works with the Home Shopping Network channel where she promotes her collection of women’s apparel.
