The Grotto Bay Beach Resort celebrated the completion of the first phase of a redevelopment project, opening newly renovated guest rooms.

Further works on the hotel site, including the construction of more guest rooms and a hydro plant facility, are expected to be completed by 2027, with additional staff accommodations also in the pipeline as part of the project.

The project, supported by a tourism investment order, is expected to expand the hotel’s inventory by 53 new rooms.

Owen Darrell, the Minister of Tourism, Transport, Culture and Sport, said he was pleased to see the significant investments being made to enhance the tourism property.

He added: “The Government is committed to supporting strategic reinvestment that strengthens our tourism product, enhances the visitor experience and reinforces confidence in Bermuda as a premier destination.”
