Cemetery Road in Pembroke will be closed to through traffic in May and June while the old Belco power plant is demolished.

The Ministry of Public Works said the road will be closed between the old Animal & Garden/Eco Pest company driveway and the Gorham’s southern driveway bridge from May 1 until July 1.

There will be no access granted to the public during this road closure except for Belco vehicles.

The Ministry said any questions regarding these works should be directed to Belco’s communication department or the Manafort Brothers demolition company spokeswoman Sarah Sanchez at 732-7350.
