Public urged to pay their parking tickets

A “significant volume” of people have outstanding parking tickets that must be paid, according to the Corporation of Hamilton.

A spokeswoman said that summons are now being issued to manage the tickets and offenders will be put before the courts.

She added: “We are advising all individuals with outstanding tickets to make arrangements with the court to pay their tickets.”

Anyone with questions is urged to contact the court liaison unit of police prosecutions at 247-1720 or 247-1743.
