Ferry service to St George’s will dry up today so that dock work can be carried out at Hunter’s Wharf.

A spokeswoman for the Department of Marine and Ports Services said that the Orange route, which services St George’s, will be suspended from Monday.

“The department will suspend service while the Department of Works and Engineering installs the bow loading ramp at Hunter’s Wharf, St George’s,” the spokeswoman said.

“The department apologises for the interruption of the service and any inconvenience caused.”

It was not stated when the ferry service is expected to resume.
