Part of Harbour Road to be reduced to one lane for repainting

A portion of Harbour Road in Paget will be reduced to a single lane of traffic for a week to allow house painting works.

A notice from the Ministry of Public Works said: “The painting works will require a one-lane closure in the westbound lane between Valley Road and Highwood Lane junctions commencing September 10 and finishing September 17.

“Working hours will be from 9am to 4pm. The public is advised to avoid this section of Harbour Road and encouraged to use detour routes via Chapel Road and Lovers Lane.

“Traffic controls will be under the direction of Loper’s Investment Haven representatives and managed through traffic control temporary signals and signage.”

The Ministry of Public Works urged public co-operation and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
