Section of Watlington Lane North to close for three weeks

A section of a road in Devonshire will be closed to all traffic for three weeks, the Ministry of Public Works announced.

A statement from the ministry said Watlington Lane North, between Watlington Lane and Tribe Road No 1, will be closed from January 31 until February 21, to repair cliff and wall damage in the area.

Motorists are encouraged to access the property on Tribe Road No 1 via Middle Road’s junction with Watlington Lane during this time.

“Ministry of Public Works representatives will manage traffic control, and no access to Watlington Lane North will be granted through this section,” the statement added.

The ministry encouraged the public’s co-operation and apologized for any inconvenience that may result from this closure.

Contact Curtis J Charles, the ministry’s construction and maintenance highways engineer at 501-3036, with any questions about this work.
