Air cargo terminal to close for upgrades

The air cargo terminal at LF Wade International Airport will be closed tomorrow for construction work to go ahead.

A spokeswoman for Skyport said the temporary closure was necessary “to facilitate ongoing construction works at the terminal”.

Skyport began upgrading the decades-old terminal building in July 2022. The $4.7 million refurbishment project is expected to be completed next month.

The terminal will be closed between 5am and 7pm. The closure will not impact other operations at the airport.

For more details, contact Daevon Burgess, the technical project manager, at dburgess@skyport.bm.
