A bus stalled on Church Street yesterday as a result of “user error”, the public transport department said.

Footage that circulated on social media showed the vehicle with traffic queuing behind it.

Passengers could be seen in the video disembarking.

The Department of Public Transportation said yesterday: “One of the department’s buses stalled on Church Street this morning due to a user error.

“The bus was back on route within minutes after a colleague loaned assistance.”
