A road closure at Stokes Point Bridge on St David’s Road is to continue until October 31, the Ministry of Public Works said.
The extension allows for the completion of wall reconstruction and road improvement works.
Traffic will continue to be detoured through Kindley Field Park to Waller’s Point Road and Southside Road, with drivers advised to use caution and yield for pedestrians.
Works are to be carried out on weekdays between 7.30am and 5pm.
Ministry representatives will control traffic using barricades, signs and cones. A spokesman apologised for any inconvenience.
Questions can be directed to principal highways engineer Tina Beer-Searle on 501-3044.
