Police name sixth road fatality of the year

Police have identified 43-year-old John Glasgow as the man who lost his life in a fatal traffic collision last week.

Mr Glasgow was riding a motorcycle on Knapton Hill at about 5.30pm on August 24 when he was involved in a head-on collision with a car near the junction of Harrington Hundreds Road.

A police spokesman said: “The Bermuda Police Service extends our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

“A BPS family liaison officer is providing relevant assistance to his family. The investigation into this, the sixth road fatality in Bermuda this year, is ongoing.”
