Paving continues in Smith’s

The Ministry of Public Works will pave in front of Whitney Institute, in Smith’s, tomorrow.
Weather delayed the planned resurfacing, which follows paving on Middle Road between Store Hill and Verdmont Road, but work can now go ahead, a ministry spokesman said.
Motorists will be rerouted to North Shore Road and Verdmont Road while the paving takes place, work will proceed Monday to Saturday 7.30am until 6pm.
Further paving will result in a lane closure between Verdmont Road and North Shore Road through September 19.
