Traffic was disrupted in Paget this afternoon after a two-vehicle collision on Harbour Road near its junction with Highwood Lane.
The Bermuda Police Service said the crash involved a light truck and a motorcycle.
At 4pm, a spokesman from the Ministry of Public Works and Environment advised that an emergency eastbound lane closure was in effect between Chapel Lane and Lover’s Lane.
The spokesman said the lane closure was to allow for “an urgent wall investigation” after the crash.
Eastbound traffic was being diverted along Manse Road while the road was reopened to westbound traffic.
Traffic controls were in place, including barricades, signage and cones, for the duration of the works.
The ministry apologised for any inconvenience to the public.
