East End manhole replacements continue into the weekend

Roadworks to replace several manholes in the East End will continue until Sunday, the Ministry of Public Works and Environment said today.

The project, which started on Monday, has led to a temporary lane closure on Mullet Bay Road in St George’s.

Traffic lights and stop-and-go signs under the control of Island Construction Services are in place.

Work hours are from 7.30am to 6pm. Motorists were urged to drive cautiously as there are no detours.
