Lane closed in Smith’s for trenching

A section of Middle Road in Smith’s will be limited to one lane of traffic starting on Saturday, the Ministry of Public Works announced.
A spokesman said the closure will be in effect near Store Hill to facilitate Belco trenching.
Work will be done between 7.30am and 5pm and is expected to be completed by October 6.
Representatives from Intelligent Excavating and Landscaping will direct traffic, and motorists should expect delays or detour via Hermitage Road, Verdmont Road or North Shore Road.
