A man died last night after a two-vehicle collision in Sandys, police said.

Officers from the Bermuda Police Service responded to a serious crash that involved a car and a motorcycle on Malabar Road, in the Boaz Island area, at about 9.40pm.

The BPS said that early information suggested both vehicles were travelling in opposite directions when the collision happened.

“Tragically, the male motorcycle rider succumbed to his injuries at the scene,” police added.

“The female driver of the car has been detained on suspicion of impaired driving.”

The fatality is the seventh on Bermuda’s roads in 2025.

Witnesses to the collision can contact Police Constable Asaph Rawlins on 717-2123 or at arawlins@bps.bm.
