Police name seventh road fatality of 2025

Police have named the motorcyclist who lost his life in a Sandys collision last week.

A spokesman said Keith Darrell, 51, died at the scene of a collision involving a bike and car along Malabar Road, near Boaz Island, at about 9.40pm on September 29.

The woman driving the car was detained on suspicion of impaired driving.

Mr Darrell is the seventh person to die on Bermuda’s road this year.

Police sent condolences to Mr Darrell’s loved ones and urged any witnesses to contact Pc Asaph Rawlins on 717-2123 or arawlins@bps.bm.
