There will be sequential road closures on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish and into Flatts Village until the end of the month.

The Ministry of Public Works and Environment said that work is “ongoing” and scheduled between 7.30am and 5pm daily.

A spokesman said: “Traffic control will be under the direction of Ministry of Public Works and Environment representatives with barricades, stop-and-go signs and cones in place.

“Motorists are advised to avoid this route by using detour routes via Harrington Sound Road and Middle Road, Smith’s.

“Motorists that traverse this route should expect delays and must travel with care.”

Works in the area were paused while a compromised wall that could not withstand the milling was remedied.
