A male motorcyclist has sustained head injuries following a “serious” single vehicle crash on Middle Road in Southampton, police said.

While details were limited, police said at 6pm that the crash occurred near the Raynor’s gas station.

Traffic diversions were in place and motorists were advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes to get to their destinations.
