Drivers to expect delays on Parsons Road

Rolling lane closures have been announced for Parsons Road, Pembroke to allow three elevated pedestrian crossings to be installed.

The works, which were delayed by rain as well as Hurricane Melissa, will continue up to Friday between Two Way Mews and Field View Lane.

The crossings, aimed at improving safety and reducing traffic speeds, will be placed by Social Cycles Bermuda, the Pembroke Park bus lay-bys and just to the west of the junction with The Glebe Road.

Work will proceed between 7.30am and 3pm, with traffic directed using cones and signs.

Drivers should expect delays and consider detouring on Marsh Folly Road or Happy Valley Road.
