Restrictions will affect sections of roads in Hamilton Parish and Pembroke this month, the Ministry of Public Works and Environment announced.

No traffic will be permitted along Black Watch Pass in Pembroke on Saturdays, from this weekend through to December 13, between 7.30am and 4pm as vegetation is cleared from the cliff.

Motorists can detour via Berkeley Road, Langton Hill, The Glebe Road and Roberts Avenue.

A single-lane closure will be in place on North Shore Road in Hamilton Parish near the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo from November 24 to December 12.

The closure, for the installation of a power cable for a new traffic signal at the pedestrian crossing, will be between 7.30am and 6pm daily.

Traffic will be managed by Ascendant Technologies Ltd using signs and temporary signals.

Motorists were also urged to proceed with caution on Sunday during the Saltus Run/Walk between 2pm and 4pm.

The event will start and finish at the Saltus campus field on Woodlands Road.

While there will be no road closures, police officers and race marshals will assist with traffic control.
