Police officers injured in Pembroke crash

A police officer is being treated in hospital for “a serious but non-life threatening head injury as well as an injury to her arm” after a crash last night on St John’s Road, Pembroke.
The other officer in the vehicle was treated and discharged for an injury to his hand.
A spokesman said the officers were on mobile patrol, heading west, when the driver lost control at 11.30pm while negotiating the bend near the junction with Tatem’s Hill.
The vehicle crashed into a roadside wall. The roadway remained closed for “an extended period” while the scene was processed.
The matter is under investigation.
