TCD to be back in business after closure over lack of water

Plumbing problems have resulted in the temporary closure today of the Transport Control Department at North Street, Hamilton, the Government announced.

Signs were posted at the building to notify residents that the facility had no running water.

A government spokeswoman confirmed this afternoon that the plumbing issues had been resolved and the facility will reopen tomorrow at 8.30am.

She added: “TCD apologises for the inconvenience.”
