Two-vehicle collision slows East End traffic

A rider was taken to hospital this evening after a collision that involved a motorcycle and a car, police said.
The incident happened on Malabar Road in Sandys, near Woody’s Restaurant and Bar, at about 8.25pm.
A police spokesman said that the rider was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment to his injuries, the full extent of which were unknown.
The spokesman warned of traffic delays in the area while the scene was processed.
Any witnesses to the incident were urged to call 211 as soon as possible.
