Front Street will be closed to road traffic next month in light of the annual Butterfield Mile Races.
The night-time race, held by the Bermuda National Athletics Association, will take place on January 16 between 6pm and 10pm.
Front Street between the junction of Spurling Hill and Hamilton’s eastern city limit will be closed, with all westbound traffic being diverted off Crow Lane up Spurling Hill and along Reid Street.
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment told the public to expect road closures and traffic diversions by the anticipated start time.
Police officers will be on the scene to manage traffic flow, close streets and restrict parking when necessary to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
