The Pink Route ferry has been suspended beginning today until further notice owing to mechanical issues, the Department of Marine and Ports said.

The department apologised for the inconvenience and thanked the public for their patience and understanding.

It said updates on the resumption of service will be provided as soon as information becomes available.

The suspension marked at least the fourth suspension of the service this year because of mechanical issues.
