Hurricane Imelda has passed Bermuda but her aftermath persists with high winds

The worst of Hurricane Imelda has passed, but hurricane-force winds and gusts abound and residents are advised to stay indoors until the EMO advises it is safe.

By all accounts, the resilience of our island and its people have withstood the test. Because that’s what we do.

We will continue to bring you updates, particularly when darkness turns into light and whatever damage Imelda inflicted can be properly surveyed. Please continue to follow us, and when it is safe to do so, send us your photos and video at storm@rg.bm.
