Autumn in no doubt as chilly conditions sweep island

The season officially changed almost a month ago — but Bermudians definitely felt it yesterday when the island woke to blustery conditions, rain and thunder as a cold front hit.

The Bermuda Weather Service reported a small-craft warning with powerful northwesterly winds coming in from the deepening low pressure system.

Conditions were predicted to ease into the weekend as the system makes its way east into the Atlantic.
