Residents returned to typical daily activities today after Hurricane Melissa passed Bermuda as a Category 2 hurricane.
More than 19,000 homes lost power overnight but officials said this morning that there were no major incidents.
The island is gradually returning to business as usual although motorists were urged to take care as some traffic lights remained out of action.
