Looking forward to Bermuda College after an enjoyable tour

Getting a feel for campus life: CedarBridge Academy students recently toured the Bermuda College campus to gain insight into the range of courses and extra curricular activities available locally.

Recently the class of 2011 went on a field trip to the Bermuda College. The field trip was very interesting and inspired many of us to want to go up to the college in September. When we arrived, we were introduced to our tour guides who were members of The College Student Government. We were split into three groups and our group went to the library first where we were given useful information about books and reference materials and then on to Student Hall where students go to hang out and relax. There, we played ping pong, fuse ball, pool and air hockey. After our touring of the rest of the college, all three groups gathered together in the gymnasium. When we entered, there was music blasting and there was a fun-castle boxing ring in the middle of the floor. Everyone knew that it was going to be fun. It only took a couple of minutes before everyone started to dance and box with each other in the boxing ring. What a great way to end a great tour! When it was time to go back to CedarBridge Academy, it was clear that no one wanted to leave. We just wanted to stay, have fun and experience college life for the very first time. Overall I believe that the tour was very educational and it gave us all a great feel for what it will be like when we attend the college in September. During our tour, I would have liked to have had the opportunity to talk with more college students and to have sat in on one of their classes but we can wait for that until we get there. At the end of the day, I believe that we all enjoyed ourselves very much and were grateful for the tour that the Bermuda College provided for us.

Time out: Even just a short visit to a college campus requires a period of time spent playing table football, a standard Student Union fixture.
