A range of music to be performed tonight at Warwick Academy’s 13th Winter Concert
Warwick Academy will be celebrating the dedication and talent of their Music Department with the 13th annual Winter Concert, tonight.
With performances conducted by music teachers Kent Hayward and Brian Swan, and played by music students from both middle and high school, it will be a night to remember.
A wide range of pieces will be performed including “Angels on Parade”, the Downton Abbey theme song and “Call Me Maybe” by the Junior String players.
Senior strings will be playing songs from the soundtrack of “The Grinch” and “Skyfall”, while Electric Strings will be performing “Green Onions” and “Clocks”.
Warwick Academy’s Full Orchestra will be playing “Somewhere Out There”.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and the concert runs from 7pm to 9pm. The music department hopes to see you there in the audience to celebrate the success of the music programme for this academic year.
