The Saltus Upper Primary newspaper, “What’s UP?” is written by S5 and S6 students. In the first meeting we had at least twenty-five S5 and S6 students! We meet every Tuesday at lunch time and talk about what we are going to write. Then, we get writing.

There are five sections in the paper: sports, academics, art and entertainment, fun and games and of course, news. Everybody chose what section they wanted to be in and we elected leaders to be in charge of each area.

Next, we worked together in our groups, writing fantastic stories you can read in our paper. Here’s what one of the club members had to say, “I find that the newspaper club is very interesting and would recommend the newspaper club to everybody.”
