Schools prepare for bleep test

For the next two weeks students in M3 public and private schools across the island are competing in a beep test at their respective schools in the BF&M National Senior and Middle School Fitness Challenge.
The top five girls and boys from each school will go forward to the M3 Beep Test Faceoff.
The multi-stage fitness test, also known as the bleep test, beep test, pacer test, Leger-test or 20-m shuttle run test, is used by sports coaches and trainers to estimate an athlete’s VO2 max (maximum oxygen uptake).
The pacer test is “progressive aerobic cardiovascular endurance test”.
Redy. Set. Go: Students from Bermuda Institute and Dellwood Middle School will be among those competing in the BF&M National Senior and Middle School Fitness Challenge.
