Set sail with WA players

Upper Primary years at Warwick Academy dress rehearsal on set for their Treasure Island production

This year, Warwick Academy will be presenting Treasure Island, from the Upper Primary years.

Treasure Island is a well-known classic, starring an ordinary boy named Jim Hawkins. His amazing adventures begin when he and his mother uncover an ancient pirate map in the chest of the ex-sea-captain Billy Bones. As soon as they have the map in their possession their treacherous adventures begin, and Jim is spun into a world of pirates and buried treasure.

Come and hoist the sails with Jim on the Hispaniola, as he sails to the legendary “Treasure Island” with Long John Silver and his crew of pirates on board. The ship sets sail next Wednesday at 1.45pm (no tickets required) and Thursday at 6.30pm (tickets are $10 and can be acquired from the WA main office).
