Showing commitment to fulfilling potential
Ms DeShield and Ms Frost made a commitment with their P3 class in September last year and they together created a class creed — “We are making a difference”.
Last Friday at West Pembroke Primary School Assembly the P3 class marched to the stage to let their peers know “we can make a difference, we can reach the top and we are ready to learn …”
The class shared their career aspirations with the school which included exciting jobs such as professional footballers, doctors, police officers, firefighters, architects, professional dancers, veterinarians and dance instructors.”
The P3 students left the stage singing Potentiality .
Mr Wendell Smith, Deputy Principal later commented on the appropriateness of the song that the children sang, repeating the lyrics: “I was somebody when I came here, I will be a better person when I leave here …”
