Construction work at the new hospital temporarily halted this morning after a small fire broke out at the site.

Workers quickly attended the fire with extinguishers, and were joined within minutes by the Bermuda Fire Service.

The cause of the fire has yet to be confirmed, however it is believed to have been an electrical fire. No injuries have been reported.
